Caramel Apples are a sure sign its fall.
Tart apples stuck on a stick and then dipped in caramel are a great fall snack, but it is not the healthiest.
These Apple Nachos are a great delicious healthy compromise.  They are also fun to eat, a little messy and sticky, the perfect fun food for kids and adults.  And that’s exactly why it’s so good, because both the kids and the parents will enjoy with an excuses to gather around the table for a quick snack and catch up over the days events, before you rush off to soccer practice or the kids start their homework.
This recipe offers a great complex carb, a bit of protein and healthy fats.  The perfect combo to feed and fuel.
