Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 15 minutes Makes: 4 servings

This tender, flakey fish makes a healthy and delicious mid-week meal the whole family can enjoy. By using an oven bag, the fish and asparagus will steam as they cook, and clean up will be effortless!

Ingredients:
12 asparagus spears
4 pieces tilapia fillets
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons white wine or apple juice
2 tablespoons grated ginger
4 green onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
Few sprigs cilantro (optional)
Salt and pepper

Prep:

  1. Place Reynolds® Oven Bag in 2-quart oval dish (or similar-sized microwave safe dish).
  2. COMBINE flour, soy sauce, wine, ginger, green onion, and garlic cloves in bowl and stir to blend.
  3. ADD asparagus to oven bag and arrange along sides of bag. Place tilapia fillets in center of asparagus.
  4. SPOON sauce over tilapia fillets and asparagus.
  5. CLOSE oven bag with nylon tie (included in package); cut six 1/2-inch slits in top of bag. Tuck ends of oven bag in pan.

Cook:

  1. MICROWAVE on HIGH for 6 to 7 minutes, turning dish half way through if dish is too big to turn on the rotating carousel.
  2. CAREFULLY cut the oven bag open.
  3. REMOVE vegetables and fish using a spatula.
  4. SPOON excess sauce over fish, season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve with rice (made separately). Garnish with cilantro, if desired.
