As summer starts to wind down, I feel like I'm trying to harness every last piece of it. Yes, we have a bit of the endless summer in Los Angeles, but there's still a certain feeling to the season, no matter the temperature, that is always sad to see end.
There's also all the great summer berries that I've been jamming into my mouth like a chipmunk prepping for a long winter. While I continue to do this, I also thought of another way to preserve a little bit of my berry summer - to quite literally freeze it. I'm talking berry ice cubes.
