Unlike many other things, hosting a bright brunch does not need an excuse or a reason.  A colorful table with scrumptious food and delightful guests will help turn an ordinary day into something so much better.  Alan and I hosted brunch for a couple of his friends and their daughters over the weekend.  The girls’ fun personalities and sense of style inspired the table scape.  Plus, I’ve been itching to pull out my Blendo glassware for a brunch and it was the perfect opportunity.  We served up baked french toast, roasted potatoes, Mediterranean pasta salad, and fruit salad.  The menu and the colors were a hit with the adults and kids; plus it helped brighten up a rather gloomy and sullen day.
