Unlike many other things, hosting a bright brunch does not need an excuse or a reason. Â A colorful table with scrumptious food and delightful guests will help turn an ordinary day into something so much better. Â Alan and I hosted brunch for a couple of his friends and their daughters over the weekend. Â The girlsâ fun personalities and sense of style inspired the table scape. Â Plus, Iâve been itching to pull out my Blendo glassware for a brunch and it was the perfect opportunity. Â We served up baked french toast, roasted potatoes, Mediterranean pasta salad, and fruit salad. Â The menu and the colors were a hit with the adults and kids; plus it helped brighten up a rather gloomy and sullen day.
