This is the perfect little gift for the tea lovers in your life. Lately I find that I'm using loose leaf tea more than tea bags so I need a nice infuser to keep the tea leaves from floating around in my cup. Most tea lovers have at least one of these laying around but it's not everyday that a heart infuser is made available. I'm all about love (and tea) so this seemed like the perfect new addition to my morning ritual. I've had a few tea infusers in the past that didn't last very long because they would start to rust around the edges. What's perfect about this infuser is that the edges are wrapped in silicone so you don't need to worry about it rusting over time due to heat or daily use. It's $20 and measures 17cm length, 5cm width and 2.5cm height.Â
I plan to use this with my Newport Skinny Tea that's on the way. But until then I will use it on the remainder of my Pacha Cacao Chocolate Tea. And because I love to share, here is one of my favorite loose leaf tea blends for you to try at home.
Lavender Tea
Directions
Mix everything together and store in an air tight container. When you are ready to make a cup, use 1-2 tsp of the blend in your infuser and steep for 3-4 minutes in the boiling hot water that you've placed in your tea cup. Enjoy!
Do you have a favorite loose leaf tea blend or recipe? I'd love to read about it in the comments.
