Day 1 of the Lenten season and I’m kicking it off with an Italian Cream Soda. It’s been years since I’ve had this drink and after seeing one on my friend’s site I decided it was time to break it out for my family. It was the perfect refresher this past weekend after an afternoon spent at the local park and running some errands. I also made a second batch to store in the refrigerator for a later date.

Italian cream soda is such a classic drink but you don’t see it at a lot of functions. Maybe we should all push the bridal/baby shower punch and tea aside and make way for this fun drink. You could even do an Italian Cream soda bar where everyone gets to choose his or her flavor!
