Chicken is one ingredient which can be made in many ways, still tastes good. I personally love this chicken curry using coconut. Hope you also will love it.
This goes well with rice,idli, dosa, chapathi, paratha or Pulao.
Ingredients
Chicken â 1 lb cut into small pieces
Shallots â 6 to 8 thinly sliced
Mustard seeds â few
Green chilli â 2 slit in half
Curry leaves â few
Salt â as required
Garam masala â 1 tsp
To marinate
Turmeric powder â 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder â 1 tsp
Coriander powder â 2 tsp
Pepper powder â 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste â 1 tsp
Salt â as required
To sauté and grind
Onion â 1 cup chopped
Tomato â 2 small sized chopped
Coconut â 1/2 cup grated
Fennel seeds â 1 1/2 tsp
Ginger â a small piece
Garlic â 4 or 5 pods
Curry leaves â few
Cashews â 5 or 6
