Chocolate, Pumpkin Cream Cheese Donuts, DoughnutsWe’re more than halfway through the pumpkin baking season, people! To celebrate the start of this last month, here’s a recipe for some delicious Chocolate and Pumpkin Cream Cheese donuts. These are easy to make and perfectly festive. You can even make them gluten-free. Exactly what you were wondering, right? Just find your favorite gluten-free chocolate cake mix…or one up me and make your own homemade mix {overachiever}.

For the frosting, I used a pumpkin cream cheese from Trader Joe’s. If not able to find, mix a little pumpkin puree, brown sugar and pumpkin spice with regular cream cheese frosting. This recipe should work.

Don’t forget about the topping. A crushed Heath bar or a Sea Salt Caramel sauce are my go-tos, but this time, I ventured outside my comfort zone and used crushed Dean & Deluca Pumpkin Spice Maltballs from the October PopSugar Must Have box.
