This pumped up turkey burger is blended with spicy chorizo, pepper jack cheese, cool avacados and fresh pico de gallo!

I am not a big fan of the phrase “man food.”  What does that really mean anyway?  The phrase would imply that men eat differently than women.  I would like to argue that point.  Men may eat more, but do they really eat differently?  I eat steak.  I eat pork, burgers, wings, and bacon.  And get this, I even grill and drink beer at the same time!

Mother’s day food is so much more delicate, isn’t it?  Mom’s get scones, quiches, lemon desserts and mimosa’s.  All are wonderful, but I want something I can sink my teeth into!  Give me a meaty burger for goodness sakes!  A burger like this chorizo turkey burger!  The more toppings, the spicier, the better!

I love chorizo.  It’s a spicy sausage that packs a punch.  Blend this palate pleaser with mild ground turkey and you have a burger that will make your mouth sing!  This burger is a mouthful!  I topped it with kicked up pepper jack cheese, cool avocados and fresh pico de gallo.  Now that’s what I’m talking about!  This is real food (and not just for men).  Wash this baby down with a cold beer and you have yourself a meal to remember.

Go on and grill up a few of these chorizo turkey burgers for dad this weekend.  Let him think it was all for him.  We know it’s really for you!
