This white sangria is crisp, fruity, and cool with lots of fresh honeydew melon and cucumber slices!
Cucumbers are under appreciated, at least by me.  They are instrumental in tzatziki sauce,  a tasty filler for kabobs and make a light little snack all on their own.  But cucumbers are versatile and can do more than flavor savory dishes.
I Â spent the afternoon researching uses for the tender little gourd and this is what I discovered: Cucumbers can take the place of your trusty WD40. Â Yes sir, squeaks will be a thing of the past after you rub a slice of cucumber over all your problem areas.
Speaking of problem areas, rub cucumber slices over cellulite before you head out to the pool! Â Apparently naturally occurring chemicals in cucumbers can tighten collagen in the skin-which also explains the whole cucumbers-over-the-eyes concept.
Cucumbers can also eliminate bad breath, clean your faucets, polish your shoes and help you avoid a hangover. Â Oh and they taste amazing in white sangria.
This white sangria will make you think twice about your typical red wine sangria!  Fresh, ripe honeydew melon, crisp and cool cucumbers swirl around and dance in a combination of dry Prosecco and sweet white grape juice.  Mint leaves brighten each sip and make this white sangria pleasingly refreshing and thirst quenching.  This sangria tastes better with age; let it sit an hour or two (if you stand the wait) before you pour yourself a glass (or two-remember cucumbers are good for hangovers).  This will allow the flavors to really deepen and come together.  I promise it will be worth the wait!  You will have no regrets once those Prosecco bubbles dance upon your tongue and the cucumbers and melon invigorate your palate!
This beverage is silky and mellow; it flawlessly captures the essence of summer!
