Finally! A homemade teriyaki sauce that my whole family agrees on. I swear, most of the time, I feel like I’m cooking for Goldilock’s three bears. Every teriyaki sauce that I’ve made thus far, is either too sweet or not sweet enough; the sauce is too thin or not thin enough; or too spicy or not spicy enough, as previously “quoted” from each of the three bears. However tonight, my hubby and two stepdaughters all agreed that this teriyaki sauce was just right. Therefore, I decided to put Oh, Sweet Basil’s Easy Teriyaki Chicken up on my blog so that I will always have the recipe on hand. Maybe even someday my daughters will ask for the recipe.

Luckily, I came across Oh, Sweet Basil’s Easy Teriyaki Chicken recipe on Pinterest, where I’ve started pinning my weekly menu. At the beginning of each week, I list out my dinner menu for the week and search Pinterest for any additional new, simple dinner ideas. If you haven’t already, you can download my free Weekly Meal Planner now. Hopefully, it will help you as much as it has helped me.

The only change I made to Oh, Sweet Basil’s Easy Teriyaki Chicken, was that I used organic skinless chicken breast instead of thighs. Oh yeah, I used my indoor stove top gill too. Carrian over at Oh, Sweet Bail suggests using chicken thighs, and I agree with her that they are super moist, however my three bears still prefer the white meat.
