Cinnamon ice cream and ginger ale make this easy eggnog ice cream float fun for all ages!
I like to live life on the edge, ignore the rules and dance to a different tune. Â Ok, not really. Â I like most rules, and I am one who likes to play it safe..unless we are talking about food choices, combinations, and flavors. Â THEN I do live on the edge! I love unusual combinations like bacon in my cinnamon rolls or pumpkin in my pasta. Â I mean who says your food can't have personality right?
I'm no stranger to flavor either, actually the more, the better! Â I love food with spice or zest; I mean why settle for just plain vanilla? Â And when it comes to food choices? Well, I want what I want regardless of the season! It could be 90 degrees outside, and I'll make a big batch of chili. Â I crave pumpkin in the spring and key lime in the dead of winter. Â I'm such a rebel like that. But seriously, there aren't any hard, steadfast rules when it comes to when you should enjoy your favorite foods.
Sure, the holidays are here, and soon the weather is going to turn nasty cold, but I still want to suck down ice cream floats until I get a brain freeze as often as I can.  Especially when the floats get filled with cinnamon ice cream, eggnog, and ginger ale.  Now that is a winning combination for sure!  I used International Delight's Classic Eggnog for this float recipe. The eggnog is so rich and creamy which is utterly intensified by the cinnamon ice cream!  If you cannot find cinnamon ice cream, vanilla or even peppermint would do!  After the ice cream, the spicy ginger ale is slowly poured right in until the mixture froths and bubbles.
The ginger ale fizz tickles your nose while the sweet ice cream and smooth eggnog melts in your mouth. Â Cinnamon and ginger flavors are such holiday classics and here you have them in each delicious sip. Â This eggnog float is so luscious and so irresistible, it will become a seasonal favorite. Â Mark my words, when summer finally rolls around again, you'll be wondering how you can get your hands on some eggnog. Â The delightful taste of this eggnog float will stay with you all year long!
