Fully Loaded Banana Bread

Banana bread is my favorite thing to bake. I could easily eat the whole loaf…not that I would do that! I promise that I share with the rest of the family! There is just something about banana bread that takes me back to when I was a kid and my mom made it for me. good cook bowls I love this set of bowls that I received from Good Cook. Aren’t they the prettiest shades of blue?

I love getting my children involved while I’m in the kitchen. My youngest loves to sit on the counter and just watch me. I’m trying to teach them the importance of homemade foods!

Fully Loaded Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 1/3 Cup Flour
  • 1 2/3 Cup Sugar
  • 1 1/4 t baking powder
  • 1 1/4 t baking soda
  • 1 t salt
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 2/3 cup buttermilk
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 mashed bananas
  • 1/4 cup caramel chips
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  2. In a separate medium sized bowl combine the butter milk, eggs and bananas.
  3. Slowly add the wet mixture in with the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. Gently fold in the caramel chips, chocolate chips, and nuts.
  5. Pout into a large bread pan or divide into smaller ones. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Enjoy!
