There isn’t a day that goes by where we don’t see one of our food blogger friends announce their new cookbook. It’s awesome to see the process from beginning to end. As many of our other food blogger friends are left scratching their heads wondering… “How did they get noticed?” “How did they turn their blog into a cookbook?” “Will I ever get the opportunity?” We raise our glass to them and say “hell yes you can do it!”

This week on KitchenParty we’ll be hearing from Greg Henry (@SippitySup), cookbook author, podcaster, photographer and the head honch over at Sippity Sup- Serious Fun Food. Greg is author of Savory Pies and the new cookbook Savory Cocktails which will be out Fall 2013. He also contributes the Friday column on entertaining for The Back Burner at Key Ingredient. He’s active in the food blogging community, and a popular speaker at IFBC, Food Buzz Festival and Camp Blogaway. He’s been featured in Food & Wine Magazine, Los Angeles Times, More Magazine, The Today Show Online and Saveur’s Best of the Web. Greg also co-hosts The Table Set podcast which can be downloaded on iTunes or at Homefries Podcast Network and was named one of The LA Weekly’s 5 favorite podcasts for food lovers.

Sungold Zinger
4 Sungold tomatoes, halved
1 pinch coarse salt
1 shot / 45 ml / 1½ fl oz Distillery 209 Gin
1/2 pony shot / 15 ml / 1/2 fl oz St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
1/2 fl oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 whole Sungold tomato, as garnish
