A yummy thick, rich, and delicious recipe for banana cream pie

Total time: 2 hours and 20 minutes

Total prep time: 20 minutes

Recipe:

Crust

Preheat oven to 375°F

1 box (crumbs) Vanilla Wafers (11 oz.)

5-6 tablespoons softened butter

Ziploc gallon size bag

Place wafers in Ziploc bag. Use rolling pin on bag. Roll until all wafers are in crumb form. Mix ingredients together with a fork. Press into 9″ pie pan. Cook for 5-7 minutes until crust turns golden brown. Total time: 15 minutes

Filling

1 large package (5.1 oz.) vanilla instant pudding

1-pint heavy cream

1 cup milk (*do not use lower milk fat than 2% for best results)

2-3 sliced bananas

Mix 1st 3 ingredients together on high speed until thick. Fold in sliced bananas. Pour into prepared pie crust. Total time: 5 minutes

Chill 2 hours. Garnish with whipped cream and vanilla wafers, if desired. Serve and enjoy!
