In this package was Amish Butter that was maple flavored. It is a seasonal butter and I wanted to do something special with it. Now before you start to fret and worry that what if you can not get maple butter. In the recipe, I will give you a shortcut to make your own. Anyway, I also have Chai Syrup from Simple Gourmet Syrups. I first mentioned these syrups in the Candied Cinnamon Swirls recipe. I am really in love with these all-natural flavored syrups. If there is one ingredient I will strongly urge you to get, it is this. I am so happy to have discovered them at the Fabulous Food Show. Maple Chai Spritz Cookies I have had a cookie press for about 5 years and admit, never used it. I went to a Pampered Chef party and well you know how it is. When you are invited to a catalog party, you feel obligated to buy SOMETHING. So I bought a cookie press. So it has sat for 5 years in a drawer. That is until I decided to do this Maple Chai Spritz Cookies. I knew by using this maple butter these Maple Chai Spritz Cookies would be rich in butter flavor. Butter flavored cookies are perfect for a cookie press. Finally, I got to use the gadget I bought at this party.
