Â
this easy to make miso instant noodle bowl has all the convenience of packaged instant noodles, only with fresh ingredients and a lot more flavor
Â
Â
when Iâm not paying attention, my husband eats like a kid
ice cream, gummy bears, frozen burritos, and the worst â¦
instant cup of noodles
I hate to think how many heâs eaten for lunch over the years
I get that they are convenient, and when you have customers calling and stopping in non-stop ALL DAY LONG, fast is key, but really the ingredient list is frightening.
so, I tried to recreate his favorite noodle bowl, that could be ready fast and completely portable
in a glass jar add your flavorings â I chose miso, soy sauce , and Thai chili sauce
Â
Â
then add your noodles, I used  nona lim fresh rice noodles, if you are using another style of noodle such as ramen â you will need to pre-cook them
add a protein, I chose sliced chicken breast, and then add the veggies such as carrots, mushrooms, edamme, and bok choy â really anything goes
Â
Â
seal up your jar, and refrigerate until ready to use
when itâs time to eat, boil water, fill your jar leaving a small space at the top, cover, and allow the noodles to sit 2 â 3 minutes
a little bit of prep, and a few minutes to boil water and lunch is good to go.
