Summer can make some people think of camping, getting outdoors, and roasting sâmores over an open fire. However, what if you are a city dweller without access to a firepit or campground? How can you still enjoy the fun of a summer sâmores roast? Well, rest peacefully now as I have a recipe for you that only requires an oven, which Iâm pretty sure most apartments, condominiums and houses come with.

This recipe saves you from the stink of smoky clothes after sitting around a fire ring and allows everyone to get in the summer spirit. You can use whatever type of chocolate you love, but I donât recommend a dark chocolate over 75% cacao or it may taste a little too bitter for this sweet treat. These sâmores would be fun to make if you have a family or friend get-together or as a romantic dessert for date night at homeâ¦minus the sticky fingers afterwards of course. I love that the marshmallows even brown up on top just like over the campfire.
