Negroni Week has been and gone for another year. More than 6,000 bars participated in the fundraising effort which has turned out to be a pretty smart marketing tactic as Campari has seen their annual 9-litre case sales double from 50,000 to 100,000 in 5 years (in the US). Bars throughout the world embracing Negroni Week by promoting Negroni drink specials and riffs for the week long event.

The Negroni was reportedly first served in Florence, Italy in 1919 meaning that it will be soon be coming up to it’s 100th birthday. A relatively easy cocktail to make with equal parts Campari, Sweet Vermouth & Dry Gin.
