Iâm eager to welcome in soup season! Soup or bisques are perfect for crowds, making them fabulous for fall entertaining! This pumpkin bisque recipe in pumpkin shells is my new favorite way to enjoy a night with friends and family.
Growing up in a creative family, I have grown accustomed to thinking outside the box â especially for food and entertaining. My Mom created projects for craft/wedding/entertaining magazines and coming home from school to tablescapes scattered throughout the house was a common occurrence. Clearly, the apple didnât fall far from the tree. My older brother is also a food blogger so when the three of us are together, weâre always in the kitchen reinventing new ways to serve up delicious recipes.
We were recently tweaking our favorite pumpkin bisque recipe for the fall holiday season and talking about how we loved sipping on fruity drinks right out of the fruit (like a pineapple). Then it hit us, serve this pumpkin bisque down in mini pumpkins. Iâve always loved setting a mini pumpkin at each place setting so this new twist was perfect. Thus, these little pumpkin shells were born. They would be fitting for more than just bisque, however! Try dips, salsa, desserts, anything!
A delicious fall soup that's perfect for a party, try this pumpkin bisque in a pumpkin shell!
Iâm so thankful for the times my family has been able to spend cooking and creating together over the years, especially when it results in delicious recipes like this one! I hope you and your family enjoy it this season too! Youâll never know what delicious ideas will come out of âkitchen-timeâ, so I encourage you to get creative this year, too!
