2 lb of korean LA kalbi
1 korean pear
1 onion
8 cloves of garlic
1 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of sesame seed oil
salt
pepper
1. wash the kalbi in cold water and let it sit for an hour to get all the blood out
2. take the rinsed kalbi out an dip it into a plate of sugar, coating both sides
3. Meanwhile, put the white onion and asian pear in a food processor
4. mix the soy sauce and the sesame seed oil with the pureed onion and asian pear mix and pour it over the kalbi and let sit overnight
5. cook it in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes, flipping it 10 minutes thru
