Nutella is one of the best invention ever! You can eat it any time of the day, for breakfast, as a snack or even on its own, I do that sometimes when there isnât any chocolate at home ;). French toast + Nutella. The results? This super soft and sweet french toast with warm Nutella oozing out!
Oh by the way, did I mention that is really easy to make too? Imagine making Nutella sandwich and then dipping it in a sweet eggy mixture. Then panfrying it in butter. Ohh..yea. If you are a person who likes sweet stuff for breakfast. This recipe is definitely for you!
I tried this with peanut butter too but it does not taste as good. But I image it may work with peanut butter AND Jelly. Perhaps next time!
2-3 people
4 eggs
1 teacup milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbs honey
Nutella
White toast / Brioche
Take two slices of bread and spread Nutella on both sides then stick them together like a sandwich.
Heat a frying pan over a moderate heat. Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat in the milk, cinnamon and honey.
Dip both sides of the Nutella sandwiche in the egg mixture.
Melt the butter in the frying pan. Fry each sandwich gently for 3 to 4 minutes, turning halfway through cooking, until nicely coloured and warmed through.
Enjoy!
Let us know what other combination that goes well with french toast!
