Schezwan Fried Rice

Schezwan Fried rice is an Indo-Chinese dish which is spicy & rich in color. Schezwan Fried Rice is a blend of rice with carrots, French beans and spring onion tossed with Schezwan and soy sauce. It is also one of the quick recipes.

Ingredients:

• 2 cups Cooked Rice/Leftover Rice
• 1 tbsp Oil
• 2 tsp Garlic Paste
• ½ cup finely Chopped Spring Onions
• ½ cup finely Chopped Carrots
• ½ cup finely Chopped French Beans
• 2-3 tbsp. Schezwan Sauce
• 1 tsp Soy Sauce
• 1 tsp Vinegar
• Salt
• Chopped Spring Onions for Garnishing

Method:

1. Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan or a wok; add the garlic and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.
2. Add carrots, French beans and sauté on a high flame for 2 to 3 minutes.

3. Add chopped spring onion and sauté for few minutes on high flame, stir occasionally.  Schezwan Fried Rice
4. Add Schezwan sauce, soya sauce, vinegar and sprinkle some water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Schezwan Fried Rice
5. Add the rice, salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
6. Schezwan Fried Rice is ready, garnish with spring onion greens.  Schezwan Fried Rice

Tip: You could use any vegetables like Cabbage, Capsicum, etc…
