Ingredients
- 6 spicy Italian sausage links
- 3 red potatoes, 1â³ cubed
- ½ onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 bunch kale, broken into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 2 tsp red pepper flakes
Directions
- Heat olive oil over medium heat; brown garlic.
- Remove sausage from casing and brown the sausage in the skillet with the garlic. Add red pepper flakes and stir often to avoid overcooking.
- Meanwhile, add chicken broth, potatoes and onion to crockpot.
- Allow to cook on low for 4-6 hours until potatoes are tender.
- Add kale and heavy cream and stir right before serving.
