Happy Sunday TKW Family! So how was your past week? Mine wasn’t too bad; it was a short work week since I’m using up the rest of my vacation before the end of the year. We got a lot more done in the kitchen – under cabinet lighting is in, almost done adding 3 new lights in the pantry, microwave mounted and additional stuff. Right now we’re just down to the little things that make the kitchen finished – cleaning, dear God the cleaning!, removing the 986 tools on my kitchen floor, buying 2 new counter benches (My GOD those things are EXPENSIVE!) and arguing over where the toaster oven lives. He wants to put it in the one corner and I REFUSE to let it go there as it takes up so much room. I *finally* have a crap-ton of counter space to bake and I refuse to give up that precious real estate! We’ll see who wins the battle!

So are you ready for the holidays? Yeah, me either. I’m getting there – still UBER slow on sending out cards (I only send out a few) and some packages. However I’m off starting this Wednesday afternoon for almost 2 weeks so that should give me plenty of time to get my stuff done. All I know is if I don’t make that man another cheesecake and his struffoli he’s going to have a conniption and possibly divorce me (lol no really). He’s been bugging me for 2 weeks to make them but I just haven’t had time.

So Friday I had to go and get fitted for a crown. Now I have no issues going to the dentist. Actually I love having them cleaned however I have TMJ really, REALLY bad so I can’t open my mouth very far and I can’t keep it open for extended amounts of time. Well I had to keep it open (between a bajillion breaks) for about 2 hours. My awesome dentist (who is uber patient and compassionate about my TMJ) kept saying how small my mouth was (meaning how far I could open it). I joke “can you put that in writing?”…

Dr. Kuntz was cracking up as she was typing this up. When I got home I didn’t show it to him as I was in so much pain with my jaw that I took some Tylenol and went to sleep. I got up an hour later, made him his homemade pizza and tried to eat but that wasn’t happening so it was warm tea for this girl. I took some more medicine and went to bed. Saturday I remembered I had that in my purse and showed it to him. At first he started to laugh, then he started to belly laugh then stopped and said “Hey wait a minute! Did you bribe her with cookies???” That “script” was classic and something that definitely made my day. Saturday night 2 of our best friends were giving a Christmas concert – they both do barbershop singing. It was really fun and such great voices! If you’re from the Pittsburgh area I definitely recommend checking out the Steel City Harmonizers!

Today it’s all about photo shoots, baking, cleaning, laundry and helping the man cut 3 holes in the ceiling to run wiring for the lights. Oh yeah… and blueberry pancakes. Grrrr! I made the mistake of having him go shopping with me to pick up a few things at the store and that’s where he saw the container of fresh blueberries. “Honey if you REALLY loved me you’d make me blueberry pancakes this weekend. I mean but ONLY if you REALLY loved me.” I saw the price was RIDICULOUS (like $7 for a small container) to which I said “Whoa! $7 for that? Yeah I don’t love you that much.” <insert smile> Now I was joking, you all know that but I caught him off guard to which he gave me such a look of “HONEY!!!!!”. So of course I gave him a big fat smooch, grabbed his butt (yes in the store) and told him whatever he wanted. So needless to say he got his own blueberry pancakes this morning.

Anyway, I should get my butt going as I just heard the buzzer on the washer go off so it’s time to switch loads over. With that, have one fantabulous week!
