How anybody came up with the idea of putting a special type of grass into a high pressure turnstyle to "extract" pieces of grass into liquid form is beyond me. What I do know however is that it is delicious and one of the healthiest things in the world that you can possibly put into your body.
The alkalinity content is absolutely insane. As the famous health institute and biggest proprietor of juicing Hippocrates will tell you that you can cleanse your system and build powerful and protective blood cells when juicing up to two ounces of juice in a single day.
As you can see from the image above juicing does require a machine or hand crank and just two ounces is equal to five pounds of high quality raw organic vegetables that you may purchase at your local whole foods or fresh market. If you eat carrots, oranges, bannanas, papaya, or kiwifruit then adding in wheatgrass will certainly give your body the vitamins that it needs to sustain a healthy lifestyle.
Wheatgrass is also known for containing a large content of B vitamins, as well as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium and potassium in a balanced ratio.
