When winter hits and the temperatures plummet; I love comfort food like baked potato soup and wamsutta, but I also love a good green winter salad.
My favorite winter salad has rich dark leafy greens, blueberries, pears, dried cranberries, walnuts, and chia seeds.
If youâve never made a salad like this, you need to remedy that today.
To help yâall make a delicious winter salad with my favorite pears of all time -
Iâm partnering with Harry & David to give one of yâall a box of their Organic Royal Riviera Pears!
As soon as my family saw their signature box on the doorstep and read that it contained their pears â well, I had to stand back or risk losing a hand. I made them promise to leave me at least 4 pears to use for this giveaway, they did, but they werenât happy about it.
Pears are so versatile, which is one of the reasons that I love them:Â Sliced and eaten with a great cheese and drizzled with honey, as part of a grown up grilled cheese sandwich, eaten just as they are, or chopped up and placed in your favorite winter salad.
This winter salad is simple to make and is delicious with a homemade Savory Dijon Vinaigrette
